Watertown resident since 2000, Married, 3 daughters -Jamie, Nikole, Brianna. Wife, Elena is head cook at WMES and I am District Sales Manager for Emerson- Machine Automation/Fluid & Motion Control Divisions. I have coached soccer locally for 20 years including Watertown’s inaugural Boys Varsity team in 2006 and the girls MS team in 2009. Currently, I coach traveling soccer in the summer and at Buffalo High School.
I am a “Servant Leader” that believes the most effective leadership puts the Needs, Growth and Empowerment First and Foremost to the people that I serve. I have been honored to serve the community for the last 12 years on the City Council and 2 years as Park Commissioner plus many city commissions. I have been Deputy Mayor since 2013 and a Lions Club member since 2012. I serve on the Economic Development Authority and as Chamber of Commerce liaison for many yrs.
I care immensely about the health and wealth of our great city, its people, and businesses. On the Council, I have worked diligently with the stakeholders to accommodate for growth and business prosperity while always working to preserve the great natural beauty and small-town charm which makes Watertown awesome, especially it’s vibrant, thriving downtown.
I think fiscal responsibility and thorough planning is more important now than ever before to keep Watertown a feasible place to live with first rate amenities and services.
I strongly support law enforcement and our Fire department/first responders and believe every citizen should be treated equally and fairly. I very strongly believe in local government Efficiency, Accountability and Transparency. My main objective is to increase the current and future “Quality of Life” here - And always work to make Watertown a safe, prosperous, great place to raise a family or operate a business while offering the highest level of city provided services and reducing spending waste.
